Andrew Zenner -- The former Paxton-Buckley-Loda baseball standout picked up a save for John A. Logan College in a 7-5 win over Kaskaskia College on Tuesday, April 2. Zenner yielded three runs -- two earned -- on two hits and no walks with three strikeouts through 2 1/3 innings.

In a 3-1 win Saturday over Lake Land College, Zenner picked up another save as he allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk with two strikeouts through one inning.

Brea Walker -- As of Saturday, the former Gibosn City-Melvin-Sibley softball standout has an earned-run average of 1.42 and a 7-1 record with 38 strikeouts for Illinois Wesleyan.

Brandon Wilkerson -- The former Tri-Point boys track and field standout finished first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:23.49 on Saturday in the Ashton May Invitational in La Crosse, Wisconsin, for Augustana College.

Olivia Frichtl -- The former PBL girls track and field standout finished second in the 100- and 400-meter hurdles with times of 17.13 seconds and 1:17.84, respectively, for Illinois College in the Rex Foster Twilight meet on Friday. In the 100-meter hurdle preliminaries, Frichtl finished third with a time of 17.19 seconds.

Mikayla Baillie -- The former GCMS girls track and field standout finished second in the shot put with a throw of 41-10 1/2 for Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday in the George Glass Invitational at Upland, Indiana.

Aleeka Gentzler -- The 2016 PBL graduate finished fourth in the high jump with a leap of 1.52 meters for Monmouth College in the Central College Dutch Invitational, which concluded on Saturday.

Kody Harrison -- The 2018 PBL graduate finished 12th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:57.46 for Grinnell College's men's track and field team in the Cornell Invitational on Saturday in Mount Versnon, Iowa.

Josh Brocato -- The 2016 PBL graduate finished 14th with a time of 15:54.17 in the 5,000-meter run for Indiana Wesleyan's men's track and field team on Saturday in the George Glass Invitational at Upland, Indiana.

Sydney Porter -- The 2015 PBL graduate finished 13th with a time of 2:42.13 in the 800-meter run for Greenville College's women's track and field team in the McKendree Bearcat Classic on Saturday. Porter also finished 12th in the javelin throw with a toss of 21.3 meters and 16th in the shot put with a throw of 7.37 meters.
