The following is the latest updates and information regarding spring sports in Illinois from the Illinois High School Association.
After a unanimous vote from the participating schools on March 23, the PBL Panthers will now make the move from the SVC to the Illini Prairie Conference in all sports beginning in the 2021-22 school year.
The PBL Panthers' boy's basketball team's season came to a close on Wednesday, March 4. The team lost a heartbreaker to the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers in their IHSA class 2A sectional semifinal matchup. The final score was 50-49.

After winning their last three regular-season games of the season, the PBL Lady Panthers basketball team improved their record to 21-8 heading into regional play beginning on Wednesday.
The GCMS Falcons' boy's basketball team recently suffered two losses on the road. The first came with a 57-29 loss against Deer Creek-Mackinaw on Jan. 31. The team then fell to the Salt Fork Storm on Feb. 1 with the final score of that game, 54-46.
WATSEKA– After defeating them in the SVC tournament, the PBL Panthers' girls basketball team fell to the Watseka Lady Warriors on Thursday night during their SVC conference game in Watseka. The Warriors defeated the Panthers with a score of 39-30.
After going a week without games, the PBL Panthers' boys basketball team will take on the St. Thomas More Sabers on Tuesday at home. The Panthers' head coach, Adam Schonauer said his team intends to play their A game in order to keep up the pace with the Sabers and handle their athleticism.
WATSEKA– After competing all week, the PBL Panthers' girls basketball team was crowned the SVC tournament champions on Saturday night. The team defeated the Watseka Lady Warriors with a score of 51-36.
