CISSNA PARK — Mary C. Killion, 85, of Cissna Park, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Hahn officiating. Burial will follow the service at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Cissna Park. Arrangements are being handled by the Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park.
Mrs. Killion was born Dec. 5, 1933, in Crescent City, the daughter of George and Winona (Rapp) Schuler. She married Robert "Bob" E. Killion on Nov. 24, 1952, in Momence, and he died April 23, 2013.
Surviving are three sons, Bob (Pat) Killion of Buckley, John (Anna) Killion of Champaign and Joedy (Kymm) Killion of Cissna Park; two daughters, Kim Atkins of Cissna Park and Karen (Mark) Lessman of Buckley; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Shawn Nimz.
Mrs. Killion was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park. She loved quilting, sewing, cooking and baking.
