Over 2,500 students received their degrees from Northern Illinois University in May.

The following area students were among the graduates:

- Beaverville: Rebecca Martell, Bachelor of Science, Health Sciences - Pre-Physical Therapy

- Paxton: Jessica Arends, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts - Acting

- Watseka: Donald Davis, Bachelor of Science, Meteorology
